zhaixingji Privacy Policy

zhaixingji is a star-quest and field-note app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, retained, and protected when you use the app, website, policy pages, banner links, reports, complaints, comments, replies, and related services.
1. Account status
The app does not require registration or login. To provide app features, the app may generate an anonymous device identifier. This identifier helps sync local app activity and is not intended to directly identify your real-world identity.
2. Information we collect
We may collect information you choose to submit, including observing results, field notes, target tags, useful clues, next steps, timestamps, comments, replies, likes, saves, reports, complaints, and optional contact information included in a report.
Our server may also receive technical data such as IP address, user agent, request URL, request time, diagnostic logs, and basic device or network information needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide app features, sync quest records, display comments and replies, configure banners, open web pages, process reports and complaints, prevent abuse, improve reliability, comply with law, and enforce our User Agreement.
4. Comments, replies, reports, and complaints
Comments and replies may be visible inside the app. Reports and complaints may be reviewed by administrators. We may remove content, disable links, preserve records, or take other reasonable action when content appears illegal, unsafe, abusive, misleading, infringing, or otherwise harmful.
5. Third-party links and media
The app and website may display or link to third-party astronomy images, videos, websites, payment pages, games, token pages, or other external resources. Third-party services are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the app, with authorities where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, security incidents, reports, complaints, or legal claims.
7. Retention and deletion
Quest records and interaction data may be retained while needed to provide the service. Reports and complaints may be retained for moderation, safety, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. You may request deletion or correction by contacting us with enough detail to identify the relevant anonymous device, content, or report.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will review the request.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
